Bitcoin (BTC) Number Of Non-Zero Addresses Reached New All-Time High

Amid Bitcoin’s ongoing fight for the $20,000 breakout, the number of addresses holding BTC has increased significantly. According to the recent data shared by the blockchain analytics firm Glassnode on the 11th of December, Bitcoin (BTC) number of non-zero wallet addresses has reached a new all-time high. This is a positive sign for the world’s largest digital currency by market cap as it is currently aiming at breaking the next resistance level which is very crucial for the coin. Alongside Bitcoin, the number of non-zero Ethereum addresses has also reportedly hit a new all-time high.

Number of non-zero BTC addresses hits ATH of 32,925,521

There are more Bitcoin wallet addresses than ever that are holding some amount of BTC. As per a tweet posted by Glassnode, the number of Bitcoin addresses with non-zero balance has hit an all-time high of 32,925,521. The previous all-time high was 32,925,198 which was observed recently by the firm.

This shows that more and more new users are taking interest in the leading digital currency and are making investments in it. The particular reason behind this spike in the number of non-zero BTC wallet addresses might be the bullish behavior of the coin that it has shown throughout the month of November. This might have impressed new users and they have deposited more and more Bitcoin into their accounts.

Meanwhile, the price value of the dominant cryptocurrency has once again come back above the price level of $19,000 and has regained this crucial support. Bitcoin has recovered more than $1500 within the duration of the last 24 hours. As per the data from CoinMarketCap, the price value of Bitcoin is standing at around $19,200 with a positive price increase of more than four percent in the last 24 hours, at the time of writing.

ETH number of non-zero addresses also surges high

Not only Bitcoin’s number of non-zero addresses has reached an all-time high value but the second-ranked digital currency Ethereum (ETH) has also seen a significant spike in its number of addresses with a non-zero balance. According to the data from Glassnode, the number of non-zero ETH addresses has hit an all-time high of 50,476,989.

The price value of Ether has also started trading bullish now following the recovery of Bitcoin. At press time, the price of ETH is standing at around $590 with a change rate of more than 6 percent in the last 24 hours.
